Chester MP, Stephen Mosley, is urging residents to have their say on proposed changes to the way Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service operates.
Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service have launched a consultation on their proposed future plans for the service. Proposals include, changing shift patterns and staffing levels; the construction of new Fire stations; and, the re-deployment of vehicles to different areas.
Stephen Mosley MP, commenting on the planned changes, said:
“The proposals seem very positive for Chester, with a new fire station planned for the North of Chester, probably somewhere near the Backford area, which will see quicker response times for Chester residents”.
